Process of Making Marble Inlay
1. We are inlaying semiprecious stones in three different colors of marble White Marble,Black Marble & green marble.
2. The Marble used to inlay the semiprecious stone comes from city of Makrana, Rajasthan India.
3. First we cut the marble in different shape example Round,Octagonal,rectangle,oval & square shape.
4. After cutting the marble we paint the surface of marble with Hina(red Color) so we can sketch the geometry on the surface of Marble.
5. With the Help Of emery wheel we cut,polish & shape the semiprecious in different forms of flowers,buds,leafs & stems all the cutting of the semiprecious stones are manually cut by the artisans.
6. After cutting the semiprecious stones we assemble them to complete the motif & then the semiprecious stones are placed on the surface of marble so we can trace them on the surface of marble to make the exact size of the cavities once the stones are traced we remove the stones from the surface of marble & then manually we chisels the marble with the diamond chisels & tungsten carbide chisels once the cavities are completed we place the semiprecious stone in the cavities to check the depth of the stones.
7. When we are fully sure that the stone fits well in the cavities we use special kind glue to fix the semiprecious stones into the marble.
8. After completing the inlays into the marble we first rub the surface of marble with sandstone & then we polish the surface of marble with sandpaper which brings the natural shine on the surface of marble & to the semiprecious stone & we use wax polish to make the surface shiny.
9. Most interesting expect of this pietre dure( marble inlay with hard stone) all the designs are made by the artisans are purely an imagination of artist once made they cannot make another one exactly the same it will look similar but will not be the same.

3. This is only table top which does not include any wooden, marble legs/base/stand if you like to buy marble or wooden legs/base/stand you need to spend spare money for it.
4. Marble inlay handicrafts & other natural marble products are handmade products, colors of semiprecious stones & marble used may slightly vary from the image shown.
5. Equipment & accessories are used only for photography purpose which do not ship with the product.
6. We are unable to ship to a PO Box address & for Russia, Brazil country we need firm entity name or business name parcel will not go to individuals name. If you have any query please feel free to contact us.

Shipping Policy

We exclusively ship through renowned courier partners such as DHL and FedEx, with an estimated delivery time of approximately 10 days to your doorstep. In cases where delivery is not possible through these courier partners, we will use India Post as an alternative option. Please note that we cannot ship to PO Box addresses. For large items, we deliver via sea cargo to the nearest seaport, which takes 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. Rest assured that we take proper measures to ensure the safe packing of your items, and all parcels are fully insured against any risks. However, please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any delays in Customs clearance. Any additional taxes and duties required by Customs must be paid by the customer in accordance with their respective country's norms

Packaging & Delivery

By Air:
Articles up to 48 inches in diameter are packaged in corrugated and PVC boxes with air bubble and foam sheet for optimal protection during shipping. These items are dispatched through renowned courier partners such as DHL and FedEx, with an estimated delivery time of approximately 10 days to your doorstep.

By Sea:
For articles larger than 48 inches in diameter, we utilize wood wool and rope to secure the item into a single piece. It is then covered in jute cloth and placed inside a wooden box for safekeeping. Shipping for articles larger than 48 inches is done through sea cargo, which takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks for delivery to the nearest seaport specified by the buyer at the time of purchase. The buyer must arrange for door delivery from the nearest seaport to their doorstep or they can request door delivery at an additional cost. For further information on door delivery charges, please email us with your complete delivery address and nearest seaport.

Insuracne:
All items dispatched from our workshop are fully insured to cover any potential damage that may occur during transit.

Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, we accept returns within 7 days after delivery. Please note that you will be responsible for paying the return shipping cost.

If you cancel your order before we dispatch it, we will provide a full refund. All refunds will be initiated through a Bank NEFT/RTGS/PayPal transfer, which will take 5-10 working days to process.

  1. If your purchased product arrives broken or damaged, you have the option to receive another product or a full refund from the insurance company. To process the insurance claim faster, we request that you follow these steps:
  2. Take photos of the packaging if it arrived with external damage. Open the parcel within 3 days of delivery.
  3. If you receive the item in broken condition, email Artefactindia and the shipping company (Fedex or DHL) about the damage with photographs.
    Provide additional details to the insurance company upon request. As soon as the claim is settled by the insurance company, we will inform you by email.

Please note that no claims will be entertained once the 3-day period for opening the parcel has passed.
